Preamble
Profit-driven private insurers are driving an agenda to disadvantage injured people. Insurance schemes must centre the needs of people who need treatment and help returning to life and work.
General Resolution

Health Insurance

1. ACT Labor reaffirms its commitment that insurance schemes should be providing meaningful benefit to scheme beneficiaries and that this must never be secondary to profit of insurer.

2. ACT Labor commits to ending the discrimination between physical and psychological injuries in all insurance schemes, and recognises that mental health is not a secondary consideration.
