That this Sub Branch of the ACT ALP recognises that the ACT Population has and is ‘ageing’ and there is a significant need for fitness related infrastructure focussing on the over 65 population and other special needs residents.

ACT Labor calls upon the ACT Government to proactively work towards delivering a significant number of accessible and affordable public hydrotherapy pools and associated boutique gymnasiums to be spread equally distanced across the ACT to meet this growing need.
