The Federal Labor Government must use this opportunity to advocate for humanitarian aid, assistance and a ceasefire in this conflict.
The Federal Labor Government must also ensure it continues its policy of not allowing the export of weapons or ammunition for use in this conflict.

The Federal Labor Government must continue to ensure that Australia does not permit export of weapons, or ammunitions, to be used in this conflict where either party to this conflict is the recipient. While Australia is not a central player in the Middle East region, we are a respected voice and the Federal Labor Government must continue to use it to advocate for increased humanitarian assistance, aid and a ceasefire for lasting and enduring peace.
