Preamble
Children of a domestic violence victim should not be sent out of Australia to see the domestic violence perpetrator parent. If a domestic violence perpetrator is overseas and wishes to see their children, the perpetrator can come to Australia to visit them.
Amendment

Amendment to 0071G

If a known domestic violence (DV) perpetrator is overseas, the perpetrator's children should not be allowed to be removed from Australia to visit or live with the perpetrator overseas. The children's country of residence is to be in Australia. The legal rights of the DV victims are to take priority.
